A clinical growth platform built for social workers. Supervision, learning, clinical tools, community, and CEU delivery, connected in one place.
Clinicians juggle spreadsheets, PDFs, supervision logs, exam-prep apps, and isolated communities. Each one tracks part of the work. None of them aware of the others.
MyFoothold unifies supervision, learning, clinical tools, community, career development, and CEU delivery into one connected environment. A professional home base where clinicians can learn, practice, connect, and grow over time.
It is also a place to be a human clinician. Peer support when the work weighs heavy. Milestones celebrated together: a passed exam, a license earned, a hard week worked through. Connection with colleagues locally and nationally. The community is here every day for those who want it, and ready when you need it.
Every part of MyFoothold is intentionally wired to the others. A missed exam question maps to a learning domain, links to a relevant clinical tool, surfaces a supervision competency, and connects to peer discussions on the same topic.
Each surface is built to enhance the others. Supervision, exam prep, clinical tools, community, and CEUs are designed to feed each other, not stand alone.
MyFoothold adjusts what it prioritizes based on a clinician's stage. A student sees different surfaces than a supervisee, who sees different surfaces than a licensed clinician. This is gating layered on a unified system, not separate apps.
Enrolled in an accredited BSW or MSW program. Field placement tracking, exam-prep readiness, peer community.
Preparing for LBSW, LMSW, or LCSW licensure. Adaptive items aligned to both 2018 and 2026 ASWB blueprints.
Accruing supervised hours toward independent clinical licensure. State-board-compliant hour tracking and session logs.
Supervising the next generation of clinicians. Supervisee management, hour approval, evaluation tools, supervisor directory listing.
Independently licensed and in practice. CEU tracking, clinical reference, referral directory, client services directory.
The platform is built and running at myfoothold.app, on web, iOS, and Android. Pilot 2 is in final code sweeps, not new engineering.

A dedicated set of surfaces for the work that wraps around field education. Agency affiliations, placement marketplace, learning agreements, evaluations, site visits, signed-artifact PDFs, and role-scoped reporting across the entire program structure.
Learning agreements built on the CSWE 2022 Educational Policy and Accreditation Standards. Competencies 1 through 9, with practice behaviors as data, not boilerplate.
Field directors, faculty liaisons, agency administrators, field instructors, and students each see what they need. Access is governed by individual role grant, not shared logins.
Learning agreements, mid-term and final evaluations, and termination letters generate auditable PDFs with the signatures required for accreditation review.
A user has one account and accumulates role grants. A field director who is also a clinician moves between contexts without re-authenticating. Revoking a role removes the context, not the account.
Status: pilot-ready as of May 2026. Final code sweeps and audits closing out in parallel with the clinical supervision cohort.
MyFoothold is built on Next.js 15 and React 19, deployed on Vercel, with Supabase as the backend (Postgres, auth, storage, and realtime). Native iOS and Android run via Capacitor wrapping the same web app, not a separate native build.
Governed state is owned by the server, not the client. That covers moderation, supervision relationships, hour tracking, identity, and access. The UI is a view; the database is the source of truth.
Designed around respect for user data. MyFoothold collects only what the product needs to function: license numbers, supervision hours, professional credentials. Nothing more. No advertising trackers. No data sales. No profiles built to monetize. The work belongs to the clinician, not to a data pipeline.
iOS prototype, 13 participants. Scope was UI navigation with demo data; the build validated interface legibility, not functionality.
The Next.js and Supabase web app is the active platform, with native iOS and Android via Capacitor. Pilot 2 surfaces are built: community, supervision, exam prep, and field oversight.
Final code sweeps and audits in progress. Pilot 2 launches once those wrap.
We are actively building Pilot 2 cohorts for both clinical-supervision users and CSWE-accredited social work programs. Early partners shape what gets built and how. Direct influence on the roadmap, structured feedback channels, and early access to the platform that wraps around your existing field-education and supervision workflows.
