Justin McKevitt, MSW, LCSW

Justin is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker practicing in Illinois & Missouri. He started off his career in the US Army, serving 6 years active duty. Before transitioning into Social Worker where he works across direct clinical care, as a Mental Health Technician in an inpatient Veterans substance use recovery facility. He completed a internship as a Juvenile Probation Officer. Started his post educational career as a Dialysis Social Worker, and then Transplant Social Worker. Before moving into direct clinical work as a Substance use and Recovery therapist, working in a variety of hospital, community care provider, and grant funded programs. Until he completed his supervision toward LCSW licensure, and the design of clinical software founder of both Prometheus Rises PLLC (the clinical practice) and Prometheus Services LLC (the systems and platform company).

His clinical work centers on clients ages 10+ navigating life transitions, anxiety and mood, identity, relationships, ADHD, Bi-polar disorder and the kind of structural questions that don't always announce themselves as clinical until you start looking. His approach is warm, direct, evidence-grounded, and oriented around real change. He strong believes in evidenced based systems while translating them into real world daily application for clients.

Beyond the practice room, he leads the development of MyFoothold, a clinical growth platform designed to connect supervision, exam preparation, clinical tools, community, and continuing education for clinicians across the full professional lifecycle. Believing that clinical support and systems need to align with real practice so Therapists have better access and support to provide higher quality care for clients.
